03/12/2009 Hi 5 Netball Finals - Goresbrook Leisure Centre December 2009
Our Primary Netball Rally was held at Goresbrook Leisure Centre on the 1st and 2nd of December with the final taking place on the 3rd December.
We had a very special guest presenting the medals to our winners. Ex England Netball Captain Amanda Newton.Lots of excited children were able to ask Amanda some questions and our top finishng teams had their pictures taken with her.
Congratulations to Warren Junior B who were winners.
Our annual Aquatics Festival took place over three days in November at Goresbrook Leisure Centre. The festivals are organised by the School Sport Partnership, Sports Development Unit, Competition Managers the Borough Swim Team and School Central Support.
A huge thank you to all of our teachers, Borough Team and Young Leaders who helped make the events such a huge success.
04/12/2009 Tag Rugby Tournament
St Margarets Primary beat William Bellamy Junior in the final match after extra time was played.
Grafton Junior won the Plate Competition beating Valence Primary.
Roding were winners of the Shield Competition beating Ripple Primary.
Marks Gate Junior won the Fair Play Trophy.
As part of the Sport Unlimited Programme - students from Eastbrook School took part in BMX sessions at Eastbrookend Country Park.
